What is it about Chinatown? There’s always something interesting to see. I particularly love Toronto’s Chinatown. It’s alive with vendors, tourists, and people just going about their daily lives.

Got a chance to visit the Christkindlmarket Chicago. I just love the way this place smells of cinnamon, sugar and apple cider. From the lights, the beautiful hand crafted ornaments and the delicious traditional german food, this place really put me in the holiday mood.

This past month, I visited the homeland! It’s been about 5 years since I last spent time in the Philippines. I find it amazing how a place once so familiar and ordinary can seem foreign with the passing of time. When I stepped out of the airport in Manila, I expected the heat, the narrow roads, the street vendors and the jeepneys. But, it was still very surprising to be completely surrounded by it. Everything to me was so vibrant, colorful and new. *Sigh* I need to travel more.
