On my way to the train station, I came across this ad for Cottonelle’s Roll Poll campaign. The sign encourages people passing by to vote if they have the toilet paper roll over or under. I thought it was nice way to keep people entertained while waiting for the bus. Oh, and I voted over.
Today, when I returned to my car after going out with my sister, I was surprised to find a little enveloped tucked on the side of the window. It wasn’t there before and so I thought, “hmmm…I wonder who this is from”. This is what the envelope contained:
Front of envelope
Back of envelope
Front of card
Back of card
The note was from a stranger who possibly distributed cards with words of love and kindness randomly all over the parking lot. It’s not often that I come across a random act of kindness such as this. It was a surprise– an unexpected gesture that made me smile and feel very happy. When I do come across something like this, I’m reminded of how wonderful people are.
I’ve finally found a great simple tool to organize my day. I don’t know why I didn’t try this sooner.
Designed by Swissmiss and built by Fictive Kin, TeuxDeux is a simple browser app where you can create a list of things that you have to do. It’s intuitive and very effective. Try it.
